At Simul Corp, respecting privacy is an important part of our commitment to respondents and the general public.

When a person participates in survey research conducted by our organization or our partners in survey data collection, you can be confident that any personal information you share with us will stay with us.

Your personal identifying information will never be sold to anyone. You are free to choose whether or not to participate in a survey, free to choose not to answer any specific questions, and free to discontinue participation at any time.

This Privacy Policy is a statement of principles and guidelines describing the level of protection of personal information provided by Simul Corp and its data collection partners to respondents and the general public. This Privacy Policy aims to promote responsible and transparent personal information management practices in a manner consistent with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada).

Principle 5- Anonymous Data Collection

Simul Corp & Partners reserves the right to gather data related to your computing device, the nature of your browser, IP address, and additional online identifiers. This collection of information is not utilized to pinpoint or create profiles of our users. Instead, IP addresses may be analyzed to understand the geographical distribution of our website’s visitors. Additionally, we may track details regarding your search activity and the documents and webpages you access on our site.

Principle 6 – Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention of Personal Information

Simul Corp & Partners shall not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the individual’s consent or as required or permitted by law. Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.

Principle 10 – Request for suggestions & feedback

Simul Corp & Partners may invite you to share suggestions and feedback regarding our services. In the course of these interactions, if we need to follow up, your contact information, considered as personal data, will be processed in accordance with our data handling practices. We retain the exclusive right to either preserve or dispose of any communications exchanged, at our discretion. Additionally, in our efforts to analyze and utilize data, including personal data, we might employ third-party software solutions.

Principle 11 – Individual Access to Personal Information

Upon request, Simul Corp & Partners shall inform an individual of the existence, use, and disclosure of their personal information and give the individual access to that information. An individual shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate.

Principle 12 – Challenging Compliance

An individual shall be able to address a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles to the designated person or persons accountable for Simul Corp & Partners’ compliance with the Simul Corp Privacy Policy.
